a retreat for all. Come and listen to tales of how this ‘Paradise’
has now been turned into a hot bed for terrorist activities in South-East Asia
and why it is on the top list of the United States and other European countries
for International Peace.
Prominent speakers will speak on the following topics;
? Kashmiri Pandits, their cultural & Spiritual heritage
and contributions to the Hindu religion, Indian society, and world order
? Terrorism and Instability in Kashmir and why should peace in Kashmir
be important to every one
? Who is responsible for killings of Hindus and other minorities in Kashmir
? What led to exodus of more than 400,000 Kashmiri Hindus, and
? What can we do to help this community survive

Dear Biradiri Member,
Namaskar! Bharat Sevashram Sangha of North America Inc., has offered to host
a day long information session on Kashmir and issues faced by the Kashmiri Pandit
community at its facility in Kendal Park, New Jersey on Oct 26, 2002 from 10:00
AM to 5:00 PM. Bharat Sevashram Sangha is a non-political organization of selfless
workers involved in humanitarian, religious, spiritual, socio-cultural, philanthropic,

A few members of Kashmiri Pandit community have taken up the initiative and
are organizing this one day event where Kashmiri Pandit speakers will be making
presentations on: Kashmir history; events leading up to their exodus from the
valley; current condition of refugees; and their needs and demands. This forum
will allow us to speak about the suffering of Kashmiri Pandits at the hands
of the extremists as well as point out the shortcomings of GOI policy and more
importantly convey the message to rest of the Asian community about how our
interests can be safeguarded in Kashmir.
Each one of us has, in our own ways, been a champion of the Kashmiri Pandit
cause. We have to keep up such efforts without fail. This is just one more such
effort. Only by educating the masses about our problems and by constant persuasion
shall we achieve our goal of a safe homeland for our community.
We the volunteers, ask you to show your support for your cause by attending
this daylong presentation along with your family, friends, and well wishers.
You can contribute in many ways: by providing written material for topics, as
